Brilliant build up and drop, brother
This is nice. Proper funk behind the chord prog and arrangement. It's a track with swagger
Nice work on this! I'm just wondering if you were intending to produce Happy Hardcore in S3RLs style here, or whether you wanted to move away from that? I can hear that many of the sounds and sythns are softer, but used in a 4/4 175 bpm Hardcore arrangement. I'm keen to know the theory behind the track :)
The original was also in 4/4 at 175, I tried to keep some aspects the same such as that and the drum beats. I didn’t reuse any of S3rl’s synths, although I did use the same harmonies as him. The chord progression is F#m-C#m-Dmaj-Amaj-Emaj-Fmaj if you were curious. Thanks for the review, and I gotta say I’m actually a fan of your music!!
Nice arrangement. I like the chip tune effort. I think from 44 seconds, that sine bassline could sit an octave lower? But I'm not an expert in this genre at all.
That's fair, I just had the bassline there because I liked it better.
Thanks, though!
Loving that Tekken style of drum roll to bring in the sound. Fantastic.
Thanks ~
That is coincidental, then, wow. I've never played Tekken myself. ^_^
Very angry. Very dubstep.
Now I need to check over the Angel Beats soundtrack and link up your inspiration :) Great work
thank you! wasn't inspired by the soundtrack, but I sampled some of the anime spoken vocals from an angel beats episode <3
This is absolutely splendid. Bravo!
Really nice chill feeling to this, and that's in large part down to a very good sound selection. Great work
This is really good. Massive kudos. Love the riffs, and the quality of the recording is pretty much pro
Thank you! It took a lot of effort on our part to get it to sound like that due to our less than ideal gear and space we got to record in.
